Is it possible? That webkinz could take the world by storm and become the hottest toy of all time? Well its hard to say at this point but some toys like the first Nintendo and the original tickle me elmo maybe be the top toys to beat. To reign on top of a toy industry like that webkinz would have to make their mark for more than a few years. In a modern toy industry that is a pretty tall order.
However Ganz made a smart move buy making their webkinz toy able to go online and become interactive. This is a move that many toys just can't stack up against. The more interactive toys become for kids the more sales they are going to bring. Many of the original styles of toys like action figures and stand still toys are simply becoming obsolete in the modern world where kids and adults want the most productivity out of their toys.
So its hard to say if or when webkinz will reign supreme ont top of the booming toy industry but one things is for sure; they are going to be the hottest toys of 2007 and maybe even the top toy in 2008. Webkinz are simply the hottest thing around.
